What's so great about cPanel 11?
The cPanel Web Hosting control panel is one of the most popular control panels on the web, and
for good reason.
From the central control panel it allows site owners to manage and monitor
all aspects of their site. The interface has more than 40 different
features to help you manage everything from creation of email accounts, ftp
accounts, view site statistics, maage SSL Certificates (if you have an eCommerce
account) , manage domain names with creation of parked domains and add-on
domains, backups of websites and much more.
Hands-on Web Hosting has also incorporated Fantastico
De Luxe into the control panel. In 2010 we introduced Softaculous to our users and the response has been overwhelming. More scripts than Fatasico, easier installation and easier to use. Using this software, you can automatically
intall a number of useful scripts such as shopping carts, forums, blogs, guestbooks,
portals and even complete web design software.
With the launch of cPanel 11, many new features have been added such as the
Getting Started Wizard which will help you learn the navigation of the control
panel. There is also a comprehensive integrated help system for further
documentation. The Web Disk Access is a new feature that acts similar to how
your Explorer navigates folders on your desktop. You can drag and drop
files for upload and download using this new interface.
The Mail system has also had an overhaul incorporating extra Spam Filtering
not just on the receiving level, but also on the sending level (SMTP)
One of the key things changed in cPanel 11 is the faster loading interface
and improved design using Web 2.0 look and feel. You can now close categories
for things that you do not use often (SSL Installs, domain registration, email
creation etc). And then move things to the top that you do use such
as Web Stats, FTP Upload/Download and phpMyAdmin for MySQL Database administration.
There have been many changes on the back end of cPanel 11 which you would
not see as a client, but they make the administration and upkeep of the server
easier for our system guys.
Can I try a demo of cPanel?
Not a problem, here's a link to the main cPanel Demo located on the cPanel
