The time it takes to manage your own server can be extensive, especially when you don’t know what you’re doing. There’s much more to servers than just installing the software and setting up your website. Various tasks such as installing and updating software, verify latest versions, secure the server from hackers and exploiters, update more software, monitor Kernel releases, update cPanel, and check for more hackers and spammers. Then when you’re all done, you get to start all over again. Hands-on can do this for you and save the headaches!

Our Server Management program comes in two main packages, Essential Management, and Signature Management. The big difference between the two is reactive management versus proactive management.

If you have a general knowledge of server configurations and optimizing your server, the Essential Management is probably the better option for you. You handle everything that you can do yourself and when you get stuck at a point, you would just drop in a ticket to our system admins and we can either provide you the steps to complete the task or we can do the task for you. Which happens depends entirely on how much involvement you want from us.

The Signature Management is one of the more popular options as it leaves you to do everything related to your site, but anything server related, our System Admins will take care of it. We also do things proactively so you don’t need to enter a ticket to optimize a database, empty a log file or upgrade cpanel and kernels. Our system admins would do this based on the same schedule that we use for our regular shared hosting packages.

Really the only thing you would have to do on a Signature Management package is take care of your website, we do everything else!
